The Association of Bulgarian Tour Guides has once again appealed to the government for support due to the Covid-19 crisis, BNR-Varna reports.
In an open letter to the government the association demands targeted aid for all 1,400 people employed in the sector, adding that since August no methodology has been found for distributing the aid for the sector, which amounts to around 1.5 million euro.
90% of all tour guides have been out of a job during the pandemic but they cannot benefit from any of the measures because they work as private and not as legal entities.
