The Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association said that proposed economic and social measures to support companies closed due to the pandemic were inefficient and insufficient.
"If we do not see cabinet's will for change and real help for business, our only choice will be to take to the streets and demand the resignation of all those who do not take vital measures in order for the sector to survive," the organization said. "We are just waiting to see if we would pass away from Covid-19 or hunger," the organization added.
Tour operators are also calling for their inclusion in the government's plan for emergency financial support, our reporter Mila Mladenova informed.
