Ministry of Defence signs contract with Bulgarian company for new combat vehicles

The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract for the purchase of new combat vehicles for the Special Operations Forces. The agreement is with a Bulgarian company and totals BGN 50 million (EUR 25.5 million) for the next three years, Defence Minister Krasimir Karakachanov said.

Less than a month ago, the Ministry of Defence signed a contract with a German company for the acquisition of two multi-functional patrol ships worth about BGN 1 billion (about 511 million euros), BNR’s Dobromir Videv reported.
