NATO allies have expressed solidarity with Bulgaria over Russia's destabilizing actions on Bulgarian territory and reiterated their full support for Bulgaria's sovereignty, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry announced.

This happened on May 6 in Brussels at a meeting of NATO's North Atlantic Council at the ambassadorial level. The chairman of the Bulgarian State Agency for National Security and the director of the Military Intelligence Service were heard there. They acquainted the allies with the revealed illegal actions of Russian citizens on the territory of Bulgaria after 2011.
All 29 countries have expressed support for Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry reported.
