In the village of Gorna Malina near Sofia, the first of its kind Church Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration "St. John of Rila” has started functioning.

The center provides psychological support,physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthopedic care, as well as spiritual support to over 30 children with disabilities and special educational needs.

The center was built in the yard of the local church "Assumption of Mary" and the idea for its creation came from priest Seraphim Yanev.
