Swimmer Diana Petkova wins Bulgaria's fifth Olympic quota for Tokyo

Bulgarian swimmer Diana Petkova has covered the "A" standard for participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo. She also improved the national record in the 200m individual medley during the semifinals of the European Swimming Championship in Budapest. Petkova finished in 2:12.38 minutes in the first series and was very close to qualifying for the finals.
Petkova, who is a university student in Alabama, finished 9th in the final standings, bringing the first quota for Tokyo for women and a fifth overall for Bulgarian swimmers.
