All  banks in the country with business relations with individuals sanctioned under the Global Magnitsky Act have already taken the restrictive measures necessary, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) has announced.

The BNB adds that the measures include blocking bank accounts and cards, freezing of assets and closing bank accounts. Some of these measures were taken for other reasons before the list was published by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control.
