Bulgaria reports 42 new cases of Covid-19 out of 3,470 tests performed

42 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, out of 3,470 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 1.21% of the tests have returned positive result. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-7, followed by Sliven district-6, Blagoevgrad district-6 and Burgas district-6 new Covid-19 cases. No new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in 12 Bulgarian districts-Vratsa, Kardzhali, Kyustendil, Montana, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Smolyan, Sofia district, Targovishte, Shumen and Yambol.

There are 12,941 active cases of Covid-19 at present. 2,284 patients are being treated in hospitals, 247 of them in intensive care units. 2 people have died and 93 have recovered in the past 24 hours.

3,263 Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in this country in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to 1,577,024. 698,734 people have already received their second vaccine dose.
