Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev has visited today Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint at the Bulgaria-Turkey border, as well as the Tripartite Joint Contact Center for Police and Customs Cooperation located at Kapitan Andreevo, built under an agreement between Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Rumen Radev toured the Bulgaria-Turkey border by land and air.

Later, President Radev got acquainted with the measures aimed at dealing with the increased migratory pressure. “Migratory pressure has increased recently, because the Taliban have regained control of Afghanistan. We must work with the EU towards a more serious commitment by Frontex and for the development of a European action plan to address increased migratory pressure at the EU's external borders. Of course, we must be in constant dialogue with Turkey, said President Radev.
