How has the city of Varna developed over the last 100 years from a cultural, educational and tourist point of view? Residents and guests of the English city of Eastbourne, host of the exhibition "Sea, Heart, Sky", will have the opportunity to see this from November 20. The initiative belongs to the informal community for social art "100 Faces" and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the declaration of Varna as a resort. In it, in an attractive way, young people collect a century of history in a six-metre phototape with images from the past of Bulgaria’s sea capital. "We will also show various videos with the appearance of the city over the years and posters," said the organizers.
In Eastbourne, "Sea, Heart, Sky" will be exhibited at a social arts centre located in the commercial heart of the city. The place will allow many passers-by to see the beauties of Varna. "We have taken a very large photo, 3 by 2 metres, of a seascape of the city with the idea that it will arouse the desire of the British people to visit Varna in person next year," admits Todor Gerov.
He and his colleagues hope that the Sea, Heart, Sky project will soon be presented also in London.
