For a second day in a row, a record number of newly infected people was registered in Bulgaria - 11,181, which is 1,185 more than yesterday, according to data of the Coronavirus Information Portal.
The percentage of positive samples has been also growing - 24.3 out of 45,956 tests. The number of active cases has also reached a record high - 170,095.
78% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. Most of the new cases are in Sofia – 3,320, in Plovdiv – 1,348, and in Burgas - 878.
