Bulgaria's Ministry of the Interior sends to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office the materials from the investigation of the case with the construction of a national children's hospital with an opinion for initiating pre-trial proceedings. It has been established that there is evidence of a possible crime committed by two former health ministers and a director of a state-owned company. From a structural point of view, the completion of the existing construction is inadmissible - due to contradictions with the development plan and safety standards, as well as due to the replacement of the contracting authority with an already conducted public procurement with a selected contractor, according to the findings.

However, an advance payment of over BGN 9 million was made to a consortium of companies.
