The price of central heating and hot water may rise by tens of percents from July, Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Alexander Nikolov said at a sitting of the National Assembly Committee on Energy. In his words, the final decision will be made by the energy and water watchdog. The authorities will discuss ways to help households, Minister Nikolov added.

"When the price of natural gas has soared several times, an increase of tens of percents is not unexpected. Fortunately, the current heating season is over", said Minister Nikolov.
