The German film The Sausage Run by director Thomas Stellmach is the big winner in the 13th edition of the Zlaten Kuker International Animation Film Festival. The award ceremony was held in the hall of the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts in Sofia.

"The Sausage Run" presents the story of a little lamb shown with the help of a classic animation technique. The plot is partly inspired by the tale of the Brothers Grimm "Little Red Riding Hood".

The chairman of the jury of the festival jury was the Argentine director and member of the Hollywood Academy Juan Pablo Zaramella. After the festival, Zaramella will hold a master class in Bulgaria for students. This year, the program of the festival in Sofia included 120 films selected from 2,700 titles from 98 countries.
