With a total of 5 titles in 10 men’s categories, the Bulgarian weightlifters grabbed 8 medals – 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze in the two lifts. Adding to them the medals in the separate lifts, the Bulgarian team won a total of 23 medals, 13 of them gold.
