Bulgaria is the only country in Europe that offers convalescence of post-Covid effects in specialized sanatoriums but the National Health Insurance Fund (NHF) does not finance it. This was stated by the Secretary General of the European Spa Association Chilla Mezossi at a conference in the resort Albena on the Black Sea.
She emphasized that the product, services, competence and potential for the use of natural resources are present in Bulgaria and it would be a good idea for NHF to start covering post-covid treatment, because this saves money from the patient treatment budget.
