Stoeva sisters start Kuala Lumpur badminton tournament with a victory

Three-times European champions Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva started their participation in the World Tour Super 500 badminton tournament in Kuala Lumpur, with USD 360,000 in prize money, with a victory.

The two sisters won versus Pooja Dandu and Arathi Sara Sunil, India, by 21-17, 2-17 in 30 minutes of play. In the next round the Stoeva sisters are to play crucial matches against the doubles of Indonesia and Thailand.

Figure skater Alexandra Feigin wins silver at an international tournament in Oslo

Bulgaria's two-time champion, Alexandra Feigin, won a silver medal at the international figure skating tournament Sonja Henie Trophy in Oslo, Norway.  Feigin won 160.23 points after finishing second in the short and free skating programmes.
