The Road Infrastructure Agency has announced a public procurement for a project for the construction of the Gueshevo - Dupnitsa highway. The route will provide a comfortable connection between the Trans-European Transport Corridor "Orient/Eastern-Mediterranean", along which the Struma highway runs, and the border with the Republic of North Macedonia.
The section is part of the main TEN-T network.

The highway is expected to be about 62 km, BNR correspondent in Kyustendil Kiril Falin reported.
