Bulgaria reports 818 new daily infections with Covid-19

Over the past 24 hours, Bulgaria has confirmed 818 cases of the novel coronavirus out of 3,127 tests, according to the data of the Unified Information Portal. 26% of the samples tested positive. 67% of the newly infected citizens have not been vaccinated. 

The highest number of new cases is registered in Sofia – 222, in Burgas – 76, and in Varna – 64. 
There are 1,043 patients in hospital, of which 56 are in intensive care units. 83% of the newly admitted 23 patients were not vaccinated. 

Active cases currently number 19,596. 

Yesterday, 127 doses of vaccines against coronavirus were administered. There are 2,066,821 people with completed immunization. 53,373 also have a second booster dose.
