Gallup: GERB wins the parliamentary elections with almost 25%, We Continue the Change is second

The exit poll results of Gallup International Balkan, a media partner of BNR in the October 2 parliamentary elections, show that 8 political parties and coalitions will enter the new 48th parliament, as one of them is on the 4% threshold. The agency's data show the following distribution of votes from the parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, as of 8:00 p.m. on October 2, 2022:

  • GERB-SDS: 24.7%
  • "We Continue the Change": 18.8%
  • MRF: 14.5%
  • BSP: 10.8%
  • Vazrazhdane: 10.2%
  • Democratic Bulgaria: 7.4%
  • There is Such a People (ITN): 4.6%
  • Balgarski vazhod (Bulgarian Rise): 4.0%

"Stand up, Bulgaria" is below the 4 percent barrier to enter the parliament with a result of 1.2%.

The voter turnout in the early parliamentary elections for the 48th National Assembly was 35.3%. 
3.3% of voters voted with "I do not support anyone".

A total of 22 parties and 6 coalitions took part in the elections. More than 6,600 candidates joined the fight for a seat in the 240-seat Bulgarian parliament.

Bulgarians abroad vote in 755 polling stations. The highest number of polling stations is in the Republic of Turkey, in the United Kingdom, in Germany, Spain and Italy.

As of 7:00 p.m. on election day, 135 reports of violations of the electoral legislation and the political rights of citizens were received, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
