Deultum National Archaeological Reserve to train students from all over the world this summer

Deultum National Archaeological Reserve (located 10 km west of the port city of Burgas) is becoming a training center for students from around the world this summer.
On the initiative of the Balkan Heritage Foundation, two courses will be held here - one in anthropology and the other in ceramic conservation and restoration, reports BNR Varna.
The courses will take place at the end of June and throughout July. The idea to use the archaeological base as a training centre dates back to its establishment in the 1980s. It is expected to attract students from American and European universities. The organisers hope that the young researchers will also become ambassadors to the world of the oldest Roman colony on Bulgarian soil, founded in the early 1970s
