Weather forecast for 9 May

Wednesday will be cool for the season with showers in the western part of the country

On Wednesday the minimum temperatures will be from 4 to 9°C, in Sofia - 8°C. During the day it will be cloudy. Over western Bulgaria there will be rain showers which will cease by the evening. Maximum temperatures will be from 12 to 17°C. In the capital it will be 12°C.

Over the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy, but almost without precipitation. Maximum air temperatures will be 12-15°C. Sea water temperature will be 13-15°C. The sea swell will be 2-3.

In the mountains it will be cloudy with rain showers that will turn to snow at altitudes above 1700-1800 m. Over the eastern mountain ranges it may rain. The maximum temperature at 1200 m will be 8°C, at 2000 m - up to 1°C.

On Thursday, temperatures will rise and it will rain only over the western parts of the Balkan, Sredna Gora and Rilo-Rodopa massif.
