A solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the start of the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising of 1903 will be held tonight in Sofia.
The uprising was a climax in the struggle for the liberation of the Bulgarians from the regions of Macedonia and Edirne Thrace. The ceremony will take place in front of the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Sofia at 9:00 p.m.
