"Citizens want to see that it's One Law for All, that those who are corrupt are going to get jailed". This is what European Prosecutor General Laura Kövesi, who is visiting Bulgaria, told BNR.

At the same time, she stressed that she sees some progress in the country, as many reforms have been implemented. For the progress to be more visible, her recommendation was the election of a good prosecutor general. Kövesi said that she hoped that cases, including those involving high ranking officials, would be speeded up. She also pointed to problems with public procurement in Bulgaria, where there is an unusually high level of spending.
