The Bulgarian documentary "On The Other Side" took the prize for Best Feature Documentary at the Winter 2023-2024 Edition of the Best Film Awards in the United States. It also won an honorable mention in the Golden Doc: Best Feature Documentary Category. '' On The Other Side" competed with 20 other titles from around the world. The project is the work of director Nikolay Rusakiev and journalist Martin Georgiev, who is writer and director of photography. The documentary was filmed in April 2023. 

Martin Georgiev was admitted to the other side of the front in Ukraine. He had already been to Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kyiv at the beginning of the war, when everyone was fleeing in the opposite direction. Back then he wanted to see the other side-Russia, the team said. ''Martin is certainly the last foreigner from a NATO member state, declared by Russia an ‘unfriendly country’, to have visited the headquarters of the private military company Wagner Group before Prigozhin’s mutiny and death'', the team said.
