UEFA has imposed a fine on the Bulgarian CSKA football team to the tune of 450,000 euros for failing to meet the "no arrears" requirements.

The Bulgarian team is threatened with expulsion from the European tournaments until 2027 and is currently placed on probation.

The penalty will be imposed if the club fails to meet the solvency requirements in the current and next two football seasons.

The fine for CSKA is the second highest after that of the Portuguese team Porto – 1.5 million euros.

A total of 13 European clubs have been sanctioned.
