Bulgaria offers Qatar Airways the opportunity to launch charter flights between Varna and Doha

Caretaker Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev held a series of high-level meetings with the tourism ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the Secretary-General of Kuwait’s National Council of Culture, Arts and Letters during the World Travel Market (WTM) in London.

At the meeting with the Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar, Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, Minister Miloshev proposed the establishment of a direct charter service Doha-Varna operated by Qatar Airways. Evtim Miloshev also invited his Qatari counterpart to pay an official visit to Bulgaria, suggesting that the visit include a business forum with the participation of both Qatari and Bulgarian tour operators. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji confirmed the interest in Bulgaria as a spa and wellness destination and proposed that business representatives from Qatar visit Bulgaria as early as next month.
