Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 26 February 2025

Cloudy and foggy weather expected on Thursday, temperatures in wide limits

On Thursday, minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be in wide limits, from minus 6° - minus 8°C in places with fog, to about 5°C in the extreme southwestern regions of the country. In Sofia, it will be about minus 1°C. 

During the day, cloudiness will be significant, low and medium over most of the country. Along the Danube River, in the Upper Thracian Lowland and Eastern Bulgaria, it will also remain foggy. 

Maximum temperatures tomorrow will be between 6 and 11°C, lower in places with permanent fog, in the capital it will be about 8°C.

In the mountains, cloudiness will be significant and the peaks will be in the cloud layer, but there will be no precipitation. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. will be 6°C, at 2,000 m. - about minus 1°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy and foggy. Maximum temperatures there will be 5-8°C.

On Friday, light rain will fall in places, mainly in Southern Bulgaria, and light snow in the mountains above 1500 m. Temperatures will drop by two to three degrees.
