Bulgarian and Polish defence industry companies meet in Veliko Tarnovo

Today, defence industry companies from Bulgaria and Poland are meeting in Veliko Tarnovo for a conference entitled 'European defence consolidation: challenge and opportunity'. The event is being held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev and will feature the Polish Ambassador to Bulgaria, Maciej Szymański. According to BNR correspondent Zdravka Maslyankova, the event is part of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.


According to the organisers from the Polish Embassy in Bulgaria, arms companies and institutions from the defence sector will seek innovative solutions and technologies for the defence industry in the context of the deteriorating security situation caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
