International forum in Sofia traces the way to a net-zero emissions future

Green Transition Forum 5.0, dedicated to green innovation and sustainable development in Central and Eastern Europe, is taking place at Sofia Event Centre as of today until 20 June.  The forum has the ambition of bringing together European and world leaders to trace the way to a net-zero emissions future, the organizers Dir.bg and 3E News say.

The event is expected to be attended by high-ranking European officials, CEOs and leading experts from more than 28 countries of Europe, Asia and North America, among them Roxana Minzatu, European Commission Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills and Bulgaria’s European Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva.

The forum will focus on issues such as competitiveness, connectivity, blue economy, smart cities, skills of the future and the transformation of the labour market.
