Weather forecast for June 21

Astronomical summer comes with slight decrease in temperatures

On Saturday, the lowest temperatures will be between 11 to 18°C. In Sofia – about 11°C. Sunny weather will prevail during the day. Before noon, there will be significant cloudiness over the central parts of Northern Bulgaria and rainfalls are expected in isolated places. In the afternoon, mainly over the southwestern part of the country, clouds will form and in places there will be short-term rainfall with thunder. The highest temperatures will be between 23 and 28°C; in the capital - around 24°C.

In the mountains before noon there will be significant increases in cloudiness over the Balkan Mountain, Sredna Gora, the Rhodopes, Strandzha and Sakar. In the afternoon rainfalls are expected mainly in the Rila-Rhodope region and Sredna Gora. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m. will be about 17°C; at 2000 meters - about 9°C.

Sunny weather will prevail at the Black Sea coast. Before noon, there will be increases in cloudiness over the southern part of the coast. The highest air temperatures will be between 23 and 26°C. Sea water temperature is 21-24°C.
