Timelessness and freshness with ''Black Granite'' – Grafa’s new song

A fresh summer story, timelessness and elegant ethnic sound — this is “Black Granite”, the new single by Vladimir Ampov – Grafa. The song is released together with a music video shot on 16mm film — a creative choice through which the team returns to the authentic look of cinema.

Stylistically, the song fits into the modern wave of "garage pop", blending a nostalgic softness with vibrant contemporary energy. The music was composed by Grafa and Denis Popstoev, who also arranged the piece. The lyrics are by Nika, and Trio Fida adds vocals, once again reminding us how delicate and beautiful Bulgarian folklore can be.

When director Chris Zahariev heard Grafa’s new album “Synergy”, he envisioned ''Black Granite'' as a short summer film — vivid, warm and natural. "I hope that when people watch the video, they feel that youthful carefreeness that reminds us that even when life throws us surprises, things eventually fall into place", says Chris. "The song carries an interesting mix of light, romance and depth — exactly what we wanted to capture", adds Grafa.

''Black Granite'' will also be performed at Grafa’s big concert in Sofia on November 13, 2025.
