On the Day of Sofia (September 17), we invite you to stroll along its boulevards and see the city as Mihail Belchev saw it exactly half a century ago – in 1975. Mihail Belchev composed the music based on lyrics by Miryana Basheva. At that time, a group of artists would often gather at the poetess’s home, located near the iconic Eagles’ Bridge in the capital city.
The first arrangement was created by Hristiyan Platov, while the more recent version of the song features an arrangement by Georgi Denkov. A film was also made based on this version. It features Mihail Belchev’s son, Konstantin, who was a small child at the time, and who now also performs his own original songs.
