Always involved in numerous projects, Nina Nikolina welcomes the autumn with several events: a new single, an album and a concert premiere of the album.
The singer marks her return to pop music with her 13th studio album titled "Global Pop" which is expected in October. The album will not feature folk songs, but it will have a folk-inspired sound — both from Bulgaria and from various corners of the world. Five of the songs on "Global Pop" are the work of a creative team that has proven itself over the years. The music is composed by Magomed Aliev – Maga, and the lyrics are by Gergana Turiyska- the creative duo behind Nina Nikolina’s music hits "Ti" and "Ne Moga." Their reunion as a team comes with the new song "Ogledalo" ("Mirror").
The idea came from producer Igor Markovski, who included the track in the "Singing Artists" project. Nina Nikolina explains why this song is so special:

''Ogledalo is a confession and an expression of love for one’s roots and homeland. The lyrics contain many powerful words that grab you by the throat. When Geri Turiyska wrote the lyrics, she was influenced by a European tour of her project ''Fairy Tales Post Box''. She brought back a sense of nostalgia from all the meetings she had with Bulgarian emigrants abroad.

She herself said that it’s not easy to write about Bulgaria, about how deeply you’re connected to it. We are all modern people and don’t openly display this patriotism, but it exists — the root that pulls us, the ground we firmly stand on. My profession has long been connected to folklore, which is firmly rooted in this direction. So perhaps this time, we have more intentionally brought the love for our homeland to the forefront in this song.''
