Bulgaria ranks third at European Under-23 Boxing Championships

Radoslav Rosenov, gold medallist at the European Under-23 Boxing Championships, and his Bulgarian teammates and coaches were welcomed at Sofia Airport last night following their outstanding performance in Budapest, Hungary. Rosenov won the 60 kg category and was also presented with the Best Boxer Cup. This is Rosenov's fourth gold medal in his career in the 60 kg category.

Two other Bulgarian boxers, Viktor Iliev (65 kg) and William Cholov (80 kg), also made it onto the podium in Hungary, each taking home a silver medal.

These results helped Bulgaria secure third place overall, behind only England and France, who each produced two champions.
