Atlas marks four decades with a new album and a one-night-only show

‘Kukla’, ‘Autumn Flowers’, ‘The Game Is Over’, ‘A Drop of Love’ – these are just a handful of the many hits that Bulgarian rock veterans Atlas have delivered over the course of their forty-year career.

To mark this milestone, the band will be performing at Club Mixtape 5 in Sofia on 4 December, where they will also be unveiling their new album, REX MACHINA. The title, dreamed up by guitarist Petar Pisarski, nods to the promises and pitfalls of artificial intelligence.

Alongside the fresh material, the concert will feature a wide sweep of fan-favorite tracks that helped cement Atlas as one of the country’s most enduring acts. Known for having cycled through more than ten singers over the years, it’s fitting that the anniversary stage will spotlight two vocalists, including a special appearance by Blagovest Zerliev—the voice behind one of Atlas’s most beloved ballads, “A Drop of Love.”
