For the eleventh consecutive year, the Student Council of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is organizing the initiative “A Minute for Christmas”, which aims to spread kindness, attention, and human warmth in the days leading up to the holidays, the university’s press center announced. “Write a letter, make a stranger happy!” is this year’s motto, and the organizers’ goal is for the messages to reach a record number of recipients throughout the country.
The initiative invites everyone to spare a minute of their time to write an anonymous message to a completely unknown person. Volunteers from the Student Council will print, package, and send the letters, which find their recipients in both small and large settlements across the country, placed in mailboxes of visibly inhabited homes, reaching even the most remote places.
Anyone can write a letter until December 14 through the official form of the Student Council:
