Three-day music fiesta: the first edition of Varna Winter Fest

The seaside city of Varna hosts the first edition of Varna Winter Fest 2025, a multi-genre music festival held from December 20 to 22 at the Palace of Culture and Sports. The event is organized by Pop & Rock Culture Collective, with the support of Varna Municipality’s Culture Fund.

The festival program features performances by well-known Bulgarian and international artists. On December 20 at 7:00 p.m., the stage will welcome Balkan superstar Goran Bregović together with Bulgaria’s renowned brass orchestra Karandila, famous for its unique blend of Balkan folk and rock sounds.

On December 21 at 7:00 p.m., the audience will enjoy performances by Lyubo Kirov and Galliano, offering a mix of pop and groove-oriented music. Meanwhile, on a second stage at Club Maze, artists such as Spens, one of the most respected and influential figures in Bulgarian hip-hop, will perform.

The final day of the festival, December 22, concludes with a concert by C-Block and Rumanetsa & Enchev, bringing together fans of hip-hop and pop music from across the country.

According to the organizers, Varna Winter Fest 2025 is aimed at a broad audience and seeks to offer live music experiences beyond the traditional summer festival season. Its first edition is expected to enrich the cultural calendar of the seaside capital and give residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy high-quality winter music events.
