British sand sculptors Remy and Paul Hoggard have once again delighted the residents and visitors of Bulgaria's coastal city Burgas with their art by creating a unique sand sculpture for the Christmas holidays. It is located near the City Clock, close to the Municipal building, and the impressive work was made using more than 10 tons of sand, the municipal press center reported.

This year, the theme of the sculpture is inspired by the Christian tradition and depicts a scene of the Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus, conveying the message of “Christmas warmth.”

The British couple Remy and Paul Hogard have been living and creating art in Burgas for years. They have crafted numerous large-scale sand sculptures, including figures of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the prophetess Vanga, dolphins, a giant elephant, and many others.
On Epiphany, the two sculptors also created an impressive 13-meter sand cross.
