The well-known museum in Sofia, dedicated to the great Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov and located in the artist's beautiful house at 10 Yakubitsa Street, begins its concert activities for 2026 on January 24 at 5 p.m. with a solo recital by renowned Bulgarian composer, conductor and pianist Lyubomir Denev, who presents original jazz versions of classic pieces by Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Pancho Vladigerov and Milcho Leviev, as well as his own works.

At the end of 2025, the Pancho Vladigerov House Museum announced that the project to expand the permanent exhibition and renovate selected locations in the space had become a reality. This turns the museum into a modern, interactive and accessible cultural destination that combines the authentic atmosphere of the legendary Bulgarian composer's home with current digital technologies and functional improvements.

Through the new elements that are already operational, visitors can experience a richer, more entertaining and more accessible story about the personality of Pancho Vladigerov, whose works are certainly the most frequently performed ones created by a Bulgarian composer on the world stage. By opening its doors to the younger generations, the museum team hopes to achieve an educational, emotional, technological and contemporary experience for visitors – a continuation of the institution’s most important mission of preserving and popularizing the Bulgarian musical heritage.
