The premiere tour of the film ''One Gram of Life'' in the United Kingdom began with screenings in Cambridge and London on January 30 and 31.
“One Gram of Life left me with a lump in my throat. Not because the film is heavy, but because it is real…” — This is just one of many responses shared on social media after the Bulgarian film’s UK premiere. The film’s director and screenwriter, Atanas Mihaylov, expressed his excitement about the audience in London and published a message of gratitude.
The premiere tour continues in Frankfurt on February 1 followed by screenings in Birmingham on February 7 and Bristol on February 8.
''We look forward to welcoming you to the screenings of a film that every parent should see and every child should experience'', said Atanas Mihaylov.
The film explores the relationships between children and their parents and reveals the deep personal, family, and social consequences of drug use. Friendship, pain, anger, naivety, absurd contradictions, shattered dreams, and a desire for life — ''One Gram of Life''.
