The Bulgarian society marks on January 13 the 150th birth anniversary of the great Bulgarian satirist Aleko Konstantinov, known under the pen-namе - The Fortunate (Shtastlivetsa). He is the author of the famous book Bay Ganyo, which features the vivid character of a typical Bulgarian who travels around Europe and finds himself in comical situations after his contact with foreign culture, temper and attitude. The works of Aleko Konstantinov place him among the most renowned personalities in the Bulgarian and the European cultural field. The web browser Gogle also honors with a special logo his birth anniversary.
