The Ministry of Transport is sending out servicemen to hire taxis from the electronic platform for shared trips Uber. The aim is to use them as secret clients and provide evidence that the company is engaged in illegal activities. This happens to be the only way to gather information valid in court, publications in the press read. About a month ago Sofia’s prosecution office appointed the collecting of evidence about Uber’s functioning as a taxi carrier without having a license for doing so. This happened after a signal sent to the prosecution on the part of the “Taxi” branch association.
