One of the best-loved Bulgarian football clubs, Levski, turns 106 today.
At midnight sharp, a group of fans of the “blue team” started the celebrations going with lit torches and fireworks. The anniversary will be marked with a traditional gathering in the vicinity of secondary school No. 22 in the centre of Sofia where, on 24 May, 1914, a group of boys from the 2nd boys’ secondary school founded the club Levski.
