Singer Vassil Petrov is starting on a concert tour together with a symphony orchestra with new covers of popular jazz pieces in the “100 years of Sinatra” project.
The concerts in Bulgaria kick off on 9 April in Hall No. 1 of the Festival and Congress Centre in Varna and continue on 12 April in Kanev Centre in Rousse, 20 April at the Military Club in Bourgas and on 11 May in Lovech. From Summertime, Someone to watch over me, Over and over (The world we know), the swing hits Fly me to the Moon and New York, New York to the Bossa Nova The girl from Ipanema,Vassil Petrov and the Shoumen National Symphony Orchestra with conductor Levon Manukyan will present the most popular songs from the repertoire of Frank Sinatra and Gershwin, as arranged by Levon Manukyan and Georgi Miltiyadov. The concert tour ends in June at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, with a host of guest soloists.
