Over 70 posters of Bulgarian movies have been posted in the largest online encyclopedia of cinema - the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). The initiative for their digitization came from film director Prof. Georgi Dulgerov who has been for years adding information about Bulgarian film titles in the international site.
The pages of classic films such as Opasen Char (Dangerous Charm), Lyubimets 13 (Favourite 13), Toplo (Warmth), Voinata na taralejite (War of the Hedgehogs) and others are already illustrated with their original posters. They are the work of famous Bulgarian artists and are valuable pieces of art in this genre. Now IMDb contains information on approximately 2,000 Bulgarian productions of various genres.
The encyclopedia offers information on more than 3 million titles, which is used by hundreds of millions of consumers.
