The Defense Committee in the Bulgarian Parliament discussed at its meeting today the political situation in the Republic of Macedonia and its military and political dimensions. After the meeting, chairman of the commission general Miho Mihov told reporters that he believed there was no prerequisite for the deployment of military units on the border. "What is the threat? Are there troops or something?" Mihov asked rhetorically. Asked whether there was a threat of a new refugee wave to Bulgaria, this time coming from Macedonia, Mihov said that he did not see such a danger.
