The initiative is a civil movement intended at gathering the portraits and personal stories of people from the anti-fascist resistance, as well as memories of their descendants. The action took place for the first time in 2012 in Tomsk, Russia. Up to date it has been joined by 36 countries. Seventy one doves and white balloons flew over the Monument to the Soviet Army in Sofia on occasion of the Victory over Fascism. The eternal fire was lit.
