Hristo Stoichkov hails FC CSKA return to First Professional Football League

Football legend Hristo Stoichkov has voiced his joy over the news that CSKA FC is back to the national First Professional League. The famous club currently run by businessman Grisha Ganchev, has received a long-awaited confirmation from the Bulgarian Football Union that it will be among the 14th in the First League. "I am happy that CSKA is back to where it belongs. CSKA has the DNA of a champion and of a club of substance in Europe”, Hristo Stoichkov has said. The legend of FC CSKA and FC Barcelona has urged the red team to be united. According to him this way the club can again conquer the peaks it has conquered in Bulgaria and Europe. Hristo Stoichkov has a 20% stake in the PFC CSKA 1948 AD company which is the basis of the new club. It has acquired FC Litex owned by Grisha Ganchev with the name CSKA Sofia EAD.
