EC approves 10 million euro for restoration of Hitrino infrastructure

The European Commission has approved some 10 million euros for the restoration of the infrastructure in Hitrino after the recent deadly explosion. The money will be used for projects targeted only at the municipality of Hitrino, outgoing Minister of Agriculture Desislava Taneva said after talks in Brussels with European Commission Vice-President for Budget Kristalina Georgieva. She added that currently the Ministry of Agriculture and Food was having talks with the local authorities in Hitrino over ways for repairing damaged municipal buildings.
